McClure Reunion

With Riley about to leave for his mission, Uncle Shawn came for a visit.  We were so excited to see him!  Our little family hadn't seen Shawn for over three years, and that's just too long!  He flew in on a Sunday and stayed with friends in Denver, so we didn't see him until Monday night.  For Christmas, Uncle Brennan decided to treat the entire family to a nice dinner out at Union Station.  My parents stopped at our house and Riley hopped in the van with me and the kids and then we all drove to Denver together.  Shawn and Brennan met us there and Dave eventually was dropped off on his way home.  It was awesome to have us all together!  We took pictures outside in the FREEZING cold before heading in to start our meal.
The first time all together in years!
Brennan took us to The Kitchen, and it was yummy!  We had calamari and hummus and all kinds of good appetizers while we waited for dinner to come.

We love Uncle Shawn so much!!!

Joely was excited for her dinner because it came with beets!

Enjoying the beautiful Christmas decorations at Union Station.
We didn't see a whole lot of Shawn again until Saturday, when everyone came to Johnstown.  Carson and Emma had basketball games that morning, and everyone went to Carson's to see him play since there was room for spectators at his game.  They both did great!

We came back to our house for lunch and visited for awhile before meeting Katie Child for our family photo shoot. :)  The weather was decent (although very cold) and we were having a hard time finding a pretty place for pictures, but Katie found a spot just down the street from our town library that worked great!
My favorite.

Katie was standing on a ladder in the road...it was a precarious situation!
I love my siblings, and miss them so much!  Thank goodness we get to see Kacie often...
Those two...
If only Seattle weren't so far away.  We need more Shawn in our life!
Brennan is just down the road in Denver, but we rarely see him.  What's up with that?
This guy has been the best.  I seriously don't know what we're going to do without him for two years.
Beautiful Kacie.  At least we have 4 more years with her home.  Thank goodness!
Shawn adored Joely.  They were the cutest combination.
Handsome boy.
Those eyes.
I love this elder.
Dave isn't so sure... :)
We support you, Riley!

Cute girl!
Spreading the word...

The field is white, already to harvest.
The ladies.
Families Can Be Together Forever
After pictures were done we came home for BBQ sandwiches and visited awhile longer.  Joely got Uncle Shawn to watch Frozen with her.  It was a great day!

Buddies.

The next day was Riley's mission farewell.  Shawn got to be there for that and then rushed to the airport to catch his flight home.  We need to do this family reunion thing way more often!!!  In two years, for sure!
