Afton Easter Egg Hunt

Afton held an Easter egg hunt at the county fairgrounds the day before Easter, and I was excited to take the kids to our first Star Valley community event.  There were a lot of people, but it wasn't too crazy.  Definitely a perk of rural life!  I was curious how they would go about it considering there was still snow on the ground.  When I saw what they did, I loved it!  I loved how the brightly colored eggs stood out against the bright white snow.
Waiting for them to give us the "Go" signal.
It's a good thing we arrived on a little early, because the hunt only lasted about 30 seconds!

The Easter Bunny handed out tiny little Easter eggs from his basket.  Joely wasn't sure what to think of him, but since he gave her a treat she did okay.  After the hunt we went to King's to do some shopping.  They were holding a game every 30 minutes and I managed to win . . .winners got a $20 gift card!  What a fun Saturday morning!
