Saint Patrick's Day was on a Sunday this year, and the kids worked hard the week before to create leprechaun traps. They were certain a leprechaun (and his gold) would be caught!
When we woke up before church, we found little green footprints going from the back door, up the bar stool, in and out of both traps, past a box of Lucky Charms, down another bar stool, and out the back window!
The kids eagerly reached in to their traps, but there were no leprechauns to be found. It appeared, however, that the leprechaun had left his own version of a pot of gold: ferrero rocher chocolates! I think, in general, the kids were a bit disappointed, but they were excited to have Lucky Charms for breakfast before church!
