Fort Collins Trip

After a very LONG eight hours in the car, the kids and I were so glad to finally pull in to Grandpa and Grandma McClure's house in Fort Collins.  I had no idea how long it would feel to go through Kemmerer to get to I-80.  Not looking forward to that drive again!

We had a great few days in Fort Collins full of jumping on the trampoline, swinging on the swings, meeting Kacie at her bus stop, shopping, and being with FAMILY!  Here are some of the highlights from our brief trip:

Hanging out with Uncle Riley and Aunt Kacie.  My kids can't get enough of these two!

Emma and Carson love to climb the tree and read.  They say it's relaxing, but it looks uncomfortable to me!

Roasting (or burning) marshmallows on Grandma and Grandpa's new fire pit.  Definitely need to do more of this in the future!

Dinner with Uncle Brennan.  We love it when he comes to say hello!

Read and Seed with Atticus at the Gardens at Spring Creek.  We love to meet Aunt Sjani, Atti, and Eleanor there and get hamburgers afterward.

Grandma taught an awesome FHE lesson on the armor of God.  It's one my kids won't forget for a long time. Doesn't Emma look ready for battle (other than the fact that she's totally cute)?

Playing at Atti's.  The kids LOVE to play down in the basement and spend time with one of their favorite cousins!
This trip was really short, and before we knew it we were loaded back up in the car on our way to Utah for General Conference.  Thank heavens for an aunt and uncle who rode with us most of the way!
