Muffins!

Grandpa and Grandma McClure, Uncle Riley, and Aunt Kacie spent their spring break in Japan, so Uncle Riley asked us to watch his bunny, Muffins.  We were excited to have a "pet" for a week.  Muffins survived the car ride from Fort Collins to Johnstown and seemed content enough in her cage in our unfinished basement.  We tried to remember to let her out to stretch her legs for a little while every day, but we always had to stay down there with her so she didn't get lost in the food storage and boxes that are all over the place.

It always seemed like a victory to catch and hold Muffins.

Muffins is one hairy bunny!  Riley gave her a much-needed trim when he got home.

We were kind of sad to take Muffins home when they got back.  I think if we were going to do a pet (besides fish), a bunny is about my speed.
