Mr. Johnson, our elementary school music teacher, loves to put on concerts! Each year at Christmas, every grade prepares and performs a concert at the high school, and it's a big deal. Emma's concert was first this year. She and the rest of the first graders came in their pajamas to perform The Night Before Christmas. Emma did a fantastic job!

Carson's concert was the same night as Uncle Riley's setting apart, so we dashed off to Fort Collins after the concert. The 3rd grade theme was The Nutcracker, and Carson was given a speaking part!

I was proud of my kids for doing so well. Last year we had just moved in and were new to the school. The Christmas concerts were confusing to us and the kids ended up not having to perform. How nice to be settled and to have a great experience singing!
