Dave worked on New Years Eve but left a little early. In time for us to make it over to Centerra for their awesome New Years Eve celebration.
Grandma and Grandpa and Kacie met us there just in time for fireworks. |
The fire dancer was cool to watch. She looked cold despite her fire baton. |
Joely wasn't as impressed as the rest of us. |
We met up with the Villavicencios (awesome party, Tiff!) and had fun at the photo booth with them. |
Keaton cracked me up in this getup. |
They had an ice sculptor who did Olaf...amazing!! |
Do you want to build a snowman? |
Even though it was late when we got home, we had to do our "traditional" (it's a new tradition...2 years old now) chocolate fondue. Yummy! I still think fresh pineapple is my favorite thing to dip. |
And a cheers to 2014 photo, complete with the hats and noise makers the kids made at the library earlier during their Noon Years Eve party. |
2014 was a good year. First of all, we didn't move. That definitely makes it a winner in my book. :) Carson was baptized, Joely started preschool, and we were able to get our yard put in. All great highlights for me.
On New Year's Day we had Sjani and Ryan's family over for homemade pasta (made by Ryan). We did the same thing at their house last year and I absolutely loved it, so we decided to do it again, just in Johnstown.
Little helpers. |
Everyone got in on the fun! |
Elli took good care of Uncle Dave. She tucked him in with a doll and a blanket and even put a pillow behind his head. |
I think Uncle Dave had a good nap! |
Hair train. The girls worked together to get everyone's hair done. |
Being with family was the best way to start 2015. We LOVE being close to extended family and getting together often. Here's hoping 2015 is the best year yet!
