A couple weeks before Christmas, Dad needed to work with Uncle Ryan on a special "Christmas project" that the kids couldn't know about. So, Aunt Sjani and her kids took us to the Museum of Discovery in downtown Fort Collins while the uncles got to work in Uncle Ryan's workshop. We had a great time discovering all kinds of neat things!
Car full of cousins |
This wind experiment was a favorite! |
Look at those bangs! |
How long will the ball stay afloat? |
Muscle man Carson is lifting up a whole piano all by himself... |
Bug-eyed Atti |
And Joely |
Thank goodness we don't really have to live in here! |
Lunch at a classic Fort Collins diner. |
Blueberry pancakes that look real! |
I loved this information on the first (and only) Lambkin in space. Go mighty Lambkins!!! |
Mr. McNeal was my orchestra teacher my first year of high school. He was wonderful! And a total tease... :) I was sad when he retired, but grateful for the opportunity to learn from him. |
Elli's ready to fight fires! |
Joely will join her. |
Fire Chief Carson is ready to lead. |
He's an awfully cute fire fighter! |
So is Emma. |
Wind tunnel! The kids thought this was hilarious! 90.6 mph is pretty strong wind! |
Everyone loved it! |
We had a great day with cousins and Aunt Sjani. It took Dad and Uncle Ryan all day to make their creations, so after the museum we went to the park. We met the uncles at Big Al's for a yummy hamburger dinner and then went back to Aunt Sjani's and watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates for awhile until they finished their work. Their projects turned out beautifully. Well worth the wait! (More to come on that in the Christmas post...) Thanks Aunt Sjani and Uncle Ryan!
