Dave's brother Justin and his wife Gretchen had their sweet baby girl, Alexis Gretchen, on June 21st. Her blessing day was in early August, and we all gathered to their home in Glenwood Springs to meet Alexis and celebrate her blessing day. Unfortunately, I got seriously woozy and headachey on the drive up to Glenwood. By the time we pulled up to their house (which is up a mountain) Dave pulled up to the house and I stumbled in and collapsed on a random bed. I was sick. Thankfully, after about an hour of sleep, I felt like a new woman and was able to enjoy the family festivities. I think I've made way too many grand entrances to family events in my life (generally involved a throw up bucket or something like that).
On Sunday morning, Grandpa Jex, Aunt Eliza, Justin and Gretchen's family and our drove down to the church. Having attended the ward for two summers during Dave's internships, it's fun to visit and see old friends. We love the Glenwood Springs Ward.
Justin gave Alexis a beautiful blessing. After sacrament meeting we took a few pictures and then headed back to their house for a nice luncheon.

It was a fantastic weekend and we loved being with all of Dave's siblings and their families. I think it's amazing Justin and Gretchen have enough space that we all fit there together. Pretty amazing, I think!
